Attending ASNA 2026 in Ottawa was an unforgettable experience for our team, especially as it marked the first time participants from Guelph joined this national gathering of aspiring actuarial professionals.

Over three days filled with informative key-speaker events, engaging panels, and a packed career fair, we had the chance to expand our horizons, deepen our understanding of the field, and push ourselves outside of our comfort zones. We participated in multiple coffee chats, interviews, and networking sessions with industry professionals, which not only broadened our connections but even led to job offers. Traveling together from Guelph to Ottawa made the journey feel like a shared adventure, and the conversations we had on the way only added to the camaraderie.

Reflecting on the knowledge gained and the relationships formed, we’re more inspired than ever to continue making an impact in our communities and in the actuarial world for years to come, carrying forward the insights, connections, and ambition that ASNA ignited in us.
